Born in Scotland, she moved to Glasgow to join an International Bank specialising in trade finance in emerging markets. Her grand plan was to move to America and marry a cowboy. But then H entered her life and she went with him to Africa instead. These days she lives with H in leafy Cheshire.

Hi Lorna! Yes, I’m slowly working on three projects at the moment – the next Ludlow Hall book, Gregorio’s Bride. The next Ludlow Nights book, Our Rules, and romantic suspsense, Desert Captive.
Writing has been slow due to the death of my dad last year, construction at the house that went on for over four months, influenza, and now H has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer. His cancer was caught during routine bowel screening, which triggered investigation and a colonoscopy yesterday when biopsies of the tumour were taken, and then we received the bad news. The cancer is at the early stage – he’s had no symptoms, is very well with lots of energy etc., and we pray for a positive outcome after treatment. We’re waiting for MRI and CT scan appointments. Once the colorectal team have all the results we’ll be called to a meeting by the Consultant to discuss the care path for H going forward.
Going forward I will be writing as much as I can, but my focus is on H for the foreseeable future.

I have just re-read your Ludlow Nights series for probably the 3rd time and realised that we never saw Tanith’s story. Is it in the pipeline?

Thank you so much for reaching out to me. Yes, I’m working on Tanith’s story right now. It’s in its second draft stage with one more to go before editing. I’m not sure when it will be released, hopefully in the New Year. I’m still busy with my H, who is doing really well, but our time is being sucked by a deluge of a variety of hospital appointments, which will lesson as time goes by.
